Air conditioning in Esher.

Whole-house cooling for larger Surrey homes

Esher, Claygate and Oxshott have a very different housing stock from central London. Properties here tend to be large detached houses on generous plots, often with a basement or a substantial extension, and frequently including a home gym, cinema room, indoor pool, plant room or wine store. Cooling requirements vary enormously from room to room, and a single system specified as an afterthought rarely handles them well.

We design around the whole property. A larger multi-split or VRF system with multiple outdoor units can serve a dozen or more indoor units across several floors, with individual room control so the bedrooms, the gym and the cinema can all be set independently. Plot sizes here usually mean condensers can be sited well away from bedroom windows and terraces, which makes a noticeable difference to noise on summer evenings.

Working across KT10 and the surrounding area

Our engineers work throughout Esher village and High Street, Esher Park, Claremont, Claygate, Oxshott, Stoke d'Abernon, Hinchley Wood, Thames Ditton, Long Ditton and Hersham. Some of these properties sit within conservation areas or are listed, and a number are on private estates with their own rules about external alterations and contractor access — we plan around both.

Larger installations need proper aftercare. A ten- or fifteen-unit system has more filters, more condensate and more refrigerant circuit to look after than a single wall unit, so we set up planned maintenance visits with a written report covering every unit, which keeps efficiency up and catches faults before a hot week exposes them.
