Air conditioning in Fulham.

The Fulham overheating problem

Fulham is dominated by Victorian and Edwardian terraces, and a very large proportion have been extended upwards into the loft and outwards into the side return. Those two rooms are usually the reason people call us. A converted loft bedroom sits directly under an insulated but sun-exposed roof, and a side-return kitchen extension typically has large areas of glazing and often a roof light. Both can become genuinely uncomfortable from May onwards, and neither is solved by opening a window.

A properly specified multi-split system deals with both. A single outdoor unit at garden level or on a flat roof section can serve indoor units in the loft, the main bedrooms and the kitchen-diner, with pipework routed through the existing stair void, an external rear boxing or the side-return roof space. We size each unit to the room's actual heat gain rather than fitting the same unit everywhere, which keeps running costs and noise down.

Working across SW6

Our engineers work throughout Parsons Green, Munster Village, Fulham Broadway, Hurlingham, Sands End, Bishops Park and the streets around Fulham Palace Road and New King's Road. Many of these homes are occupied families with young children, so we work to agreed hours, protect floors and finishes, and clear up properly at the end of each day.

We also look after a good deal of commercial work in the area — restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, salons and offices — covering comfort cooling alongside commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and cellar cooling, with planned maintenance to avoid summer breakdowns.
